Using the gas holders as my object to take a form from, I focused on the frame work around the cylinder.  I cut out the squares to make a grid of brown paper and followed the form of the cylinder around the body. The arms went through the cuts outs and I had to fasten it at the neck with tape, so that it would hang properly.

COLLABORATION

We dressed up with bits of draped cloth and then draw what we saw. I drew in blocks and decorated each one in colour. I initially used pen, and with one of my images I added coloured tape, as I felt this duplicated the pen well. I do find it hard to draw figuratively, but enjoyed doing these pictures as using different colours in panels helped me form the image that I wanted to project. The tape was also great fun to use, and I added it to my sketch book as a grid, to blend in with my paper garment.

Using each others possessions we had to combine the objects in some way to show a flow and connection between the objects.  We then had to draw what we saw; coca cola can, a pen, a necklace, I drew them on to acetate and projected this image onto my brother. It looked like he had been standing against a wall and someone had spray painted him and the wall.  My pictures were also quite dark, but it made the image look quite eerie, which I like.

As well as using acetate, i also cut the shapes out of coloured paper.
